  1. 🎙️ Leadership Unveiled: An Inspiring Conversation with the Vice Principal
    The Media and Marketing Club filmed this podcast episode on 09 March 2026 and officially launched it on 30 March 2026 on the college’s YouTube channel. Titled “Inside Our College: An Inspiring Conversation with the Vice Principal”, the session features an engaging interaction highlighting the Vice Principal’s insights, experiences, and vision for the institution.
    Through this candid conversation, the Vice Principal shared her personal journey, leadership perspectives, and commitment to fostering an inclusive and dynamic campus environment. The initiative aimed to promote transparency, inspire students, and strengthen the connection between the administration and the student community.
    The episode provided students with a meaningful opportunity to understand the values, goals, and future direction of the institution, while encouraging open dialogue and engagement across the campus.
  2. 🏆 Triumph of Talent – Recognizing the Best
    The Awards Ceremony held on 28 March 2026 (Saturday) celebrated student excellence and achievement across various categories. Outstanding performers were recognized as Academic Achievers (Batch 2022–2025), Consistency in Merit (Batch 2022–2025), Merit Awards (Even Semesters of A.Y. 2024–25), and Attendance Awards (Odd Semesters of A.Y. 2025–26). The event created a proud and inspiring atmosphere, honoring students’ hard work, dedication, and commitment to excellence, while motivating them to strive for greater accomplishments and reinforcing the institution’s focus on holistic academic development.

    The Media and Marketing Club conducted an activity on 26 March 2026 to capture testimonials and photographs from participants and guests of FoodFest 2026. The initiative highlighted the vibrant campus spirit, bringing together students, faculty, and staff to celebrate culinary creativity and cultural diversity.
    Through engaging visuals and genuine feedback, the activity showcased the enthusiasm, community bonding, and active participation that defined the event. It effectively reflected the lively atmosphere and collective efforts of the college.

  4. 🍽️ Annual Food Fest 2026 – Celebrating Taste, Talent & Campus Spirit
    The Annual Food Fest held on 26 March 2026 was a vibrant celebration of creativity, learning, and enjoyment, jointly organized by the Health & Nutrition Club and the OPOS Cooking Club. Students actively managed interactive food stalls, presenting healthy and innovative recipes while explaining their nutritional value. Handmade products such as jewellery, perfumes, and bags were also displayed, showcasing students’ entrepreneurial skills, with food priced affordably between ₹5 and ₹30.
    The event was further enlivened by fun games and activities, creating a lively atmosphere filled with excitement and participation from students, faculty, and staff.
    The Media and Marketing Club conducted a special activity to capture testimonials and photographs from participants and guests, highlighting the spirit of campus life, creativity, and community bonding. These reflections showcased the enthusiasm and collective effort behind the event.
    Overall, the Food Fest was a joyful and enriching experience, leaving lasting memories of togetherness, talent, and celebration.
  5. Seminar on "AI Fundamentals and Agentic AI"
    On 13 March 2026, the IQAC organized a seminar on "AI Fundamentals and Agentic AI" in association with Neominds Tech Hub. The session was conducted by Shaik Asgar, Founder of Neominds Tech Hub and an AI professional with over five years of industry experience.
    The seminar provided students with insights into core Artificial Intelligence concepts and applications of genetic algorithms, helping them understand emerging trends in AI. The session received positive feedback from students, who also expressed interest in attending a more extensive workshop on the topic in the future.
  6. One-Line Manifesto Activity – Promoting Clear Democratic Expression
    The Electoral Literacy Club conducted an activity titled “One-Line Manifesto” on 11 March 2026 (Wednesday) to highlight the importance of effective communication and meaningful interaction in society. The activity encouraged students to express powerful ideas and beliefs in a single impactful sentence.
    The aim of the activity was to help students understand how a concise message can clearly communicate a strong value, vision, or social belief. Through this exercise, students learned how meaningful interaction and communication help people share ideas, understand different perspectives, and build stronger relationships within communities.
  7. Mock Interview & Training Sessions
    The Training and Placement Cell, in collaboration with TNS India Foundation, conducted two-day Mock Interview and Training Sessions on 09 and 10 March 2026. The program aimed to enhance students’ interview skills, confidence, and understanding of common interview questions.
    A total of 47 students from B.Com (Computer Applications) participated and actively engaged in mock interview sessions, receiving constructive feedback from trainers. The training effectively helped students prepare for real interview situations and improved their overall readiness for placements.
  8. International Women’s Day Celebration – Empowered Women, Empower the Nation
    International Women's Day was celebrated on 07 March 2026 (Saturday), a day in advance, through a joint initiative of the Media & Marketing Club and the Cultural & Arts Club. The event was organized under the theme “Empowered Women Empower the Nation.”
    The celebration featured a variety of engaging activities including short video messages from students, photography on “Women at Work,” and a Women Entrepreneurs Exhibition, where students showcased handmade products, artwork, and startup ideas. A Success Story Session by alumni inspired students with real-life achievements, followed by fun games that added enthusiasm and participation to the event.
  9. Health Talk on Healthy Lifestyle & Disease Prevention
    The Health & Nutrition Club of KV Ranga Reddy Degree College for Women organized a Health Talk on 06 March 2026 to raise awareness about healthy living and disease prevention, with support from ONUS Robotic Hospitals.
    The session was delivered by Dr. Ravi Kiran and Dr. Krishna Chaitanya Reddy, who highlighted the importance of balanced nutrition, regular exercise, stress management, and early diagnosis of diseases. Students gained valuable insights on diabetes, neurological health, and overall wellness.
    The program concluded with an interactive session where students asked questions and received expert medical advice, encouraging them to adopt healthier lifestyles.
  10. Inter-Collegiate Student Development Program – Project Work Guidance
    A total of 19 students from VI Semester B.Com (Computer Applications) participated in the Inter-Collegiate Student Development Program (SDP) titled “Project Work Guidance” on 05 March 2026. The program was jointly organized by Indian Institute of Management and Commerce and Institute of Public Enterprise.
    The session provided valuable guidance to students on project planning, research methodology, and effective report preparation, helping them strengthen their understanding of academic project work.
  11. Spreading Smiles, Sharing Care – A Heartwarming Visit to an Old Age Home
    On 04 March 2026 (Wednesday), the Community Service Club visited Sri Vathsalya Valli Foundation as part of its social outreach initiative. The visit reflected the institution’s core value of service to humanity by promoting compassion, empathy, and social responsibility among students.
    During the visit, students interacted warmly with the elderly residents, spent quality time with them, and distributed fruits as a small token of love and care. The objective of the program was to instill respect for senior citizens, develop a sense of responsibility, and strengthen intergenerational bonds.
    The experience was heart-touching and meaningful for the students, while the residents expressed happiness and appreciation for their thoughtful gesture.
  12. Mega Job Drive 2026 – Expanding Career Opportunities
    The Placement Cell, in association with Magic Bus India Foundation, successfully organized a Mega Job Drive on 2 March 2026 (Monday) from 9.00 a.m. to 3.00 p.m. on the college campus. Reputed companies including Tech Mahindra, Muthoot Finance, Bharat Biotech, Reliance Jio, Digitide, BPOC, Payzigo Fintech Pvt. Ltd., and T & G Enterprises participated in the drive, offering roles in email, chat, voice and non-voice processes, internships, and work-from-home opportunities. A large number of final-year and recently graduated students from Physical Sciences, Commerce, and Life Sciences streams attended multiple screening rounds, including aptitude tests and HR interviews. At the conclusion of the selection process, shortlisted candidates for Quess Corp Orient Ltd received their offer letters during a felicitation programme held in the college open-air auditorium. The Principal and Vice Principal personally handed over the offer letters, congratulated the selected students, and appreciated the efforts of the Placement Cell, faculty coordinators, and Magic Bus India Foundation for creating valuable employment opportunities.
  13. Unveiling Stories, Creating Connections – “What’s in Your Bag?”
    The Media and Marketing Club launched an engaging episode titled “What’s in Your Bag?” on 28 February 2026 (Saturday) to promote creative storytelling and strengthen the college’s digital presence. The episode received positive feedback and garnered over 200 views within the first week, reflecting strong audience engagement. This initiative provided hands-on media experience to students while showcasing relatable, authentic campus culture and enhancing online outreach.
  14. Empowered Minds, Extraordinary Discoveries: Women in STEM
    On 28 February 2026 (Saturday), the Bio-Science Club organized an inspiring event titled "Empowered Minds, Extraordinary Discoveries: Women Leading the Way in Science:. The program celebrated the remarkable contributions of women in STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics) and aimed to promote inclusivity and innovation for a progressive future. Students actively participated by preparing models, posters, and PowerPoint presentations highlighting the achievements and groundbreaking innovations of women scientists. The event provided a platform for learning, inspiration, and appreciation of women’s vital role in advancing scientific research and discovery.
    Prizes for First and Second place winners were distributed on 05 March 2026 by Dr M. S. N. Reddy, Retired Professor of Chemistry and Former Registrar of Osmania University.
  15. ECO Reads: Global Connect
    On 27 February 2026 (Friday), the ECO Club conducted an activity titled "ECO Reads: Global Connect". As part of this initiative, students explored environment-related articles, research papers, and case studies available on the NDLI platform, selecting topics such as climate change, biodiversity conservation, pollution control, sustainable development, renewable energy, waste management, and global environmental policies. The activity enhanced research skills, broadened environmental awareness, and encouraged students to stay informed about global ecological challenges and solutions.
  16. Measure Metrics: Know Your Numbers, Shape Your Health
    On 27 February 2026 (Friday), the Health & Nutrition Club organized a "Measure Metrics" activity aimed at empowering students to take charge of their well-being through data-driven health insights. Over 120 participants underwent comprehensive assessments, including measurement of body weight, height, BMI (Body Mass Index), waist circumference, hip circumference, and waist–hip ratio. The session focused on interpreting these metrics and translating them into actionable nutrition and lifestyle guidance, helping students understand the connection between their health indicators, cardiovascular fitness, and long-term metabolic wellness.
  17. Game On: Handball Tournament 2026
    On 27 February 2026, Friday, the Sports Club organized an Outdoor Handball Tournament for B.Sc. and B.Com IV Semester students, with a total of 20 teams, each comprising seven players. The event witnessed enthusiastic participation, with students showcasing impressive skills, teamwork, and strategic coordination. The thrilling matches promoted sportsmanship, friendly competition, and effective communication among teammates. The activity also contributed to improving physical fitness, cardiovascular health, and muscle strength. Overall, the tournament was a great success, providing a dynamic and fair platform for students to engage in healthy and enjoyable physical activity.
  18. Microscopy Madness: Exploring the Invisible World
    On 26 February 2026 (Thursday), the Bioscience Club organized "Microscopy Madness", an activity focused on exploring various types of microscopes and examining microscopic specimens. The session aimed to enhance students’ understanding of microscopy techniques and their applications in biological sciences. Participants had the opportunity to observe and analyze specimens using different microscopy equipment, gaining practical knowledge and developing a deeper appreciation for microscopic analysis in bioscience research.
  19. Nutrient Profiling: Smart Meal Planning with OPOS
    The OPOS Club conducted an activity titled "Nutrient Profiling" on 26 February 2026, where students prepared balanced meal plans using the OPOS one-pot single-shot method. During the session, OPOS Student Representatives demonstrated how to calculate nutritive values such as energy, carbohydrates, protein, fat, iron, and calcium using standard food composition tables and compare them with the Recommended Dietary Allowances (RDA). The activity helped students understand the link between meal planning and nutritional requirements, fostering awareness about designing healthy and balanced diets.

    On 25 February 2026 (Wednesday), the Math Club organized an interactive activity titled "Numerical Explorer". The session highlighted the real-life applications of Numerical Analysis, demonstrating how numerical methods are used to solve practical problems through approximation and computation. By connecting mathematical concepts with real-world situations, the activity enhanced students’ analytical thinking and problem-solving skills, making mathematics both practical and engaging.

    The Coding Club organized an engaging activity titled "Code Relay" on 25 February 2026, Wednesday. Designed to promote collaborative learning and problem-solving, the event encouraged students to build upon each other’s code in a relay format, fostering teamwork and logical thinking.     A guest lecture on "Physics and its Role in Communication" was held on 23 February 2026 (Monday) by Er. P. Kalee Prasad, Assistant Director (Engineering) (Retd.), Doordarshan. The session highlighted the application of physics in modern communication systems such as wireless networks, fiber optics, and satellite communication, along with key concepts like electromagnetic waves, signal transmission, and emerging technologies including 6G. The lecture provided students with valuable insights into how Physics drives advancements in communication technology.
  23. Draw the Deal: Business Pictionary
    On 21 February 2026 (Tuesday), the Commerce Club organized a Business Pictionary activity for B.Com and B.Sc students. Teams illustrated business-related terms for others to guess, promoting teamwork, quick thinking, and a better understanding of business concepts.     On 20 February 2026 (Friday), the Electoral Literacy Club conducted a Mock Parliament Session on Budget 2026, providing students with a practical understanding of parliamentary procedures and budget discussions. The session featured a spirited and structured debate, where participants represented ruling and opposition parties to deliberate on key budget proposals. After detailed discussions and negotiated amendments, the budget was passed by a narrow majority, reflecting both political differences and democratic cooperation. Key highlights of the mock budget included increased allocations for healthcare and education, infrastructure development for job creation, expanded renewable energy funding, and targeted support for small businesses.     On 19 February 2026 (Thursday), the Cultural and Art Club organized a spectacular Fashion Show in the open auditorium from 1:30 PM to 2:30 PM. The event was a resounding success, showcasing an exciting array of new collections and emerging trends presented creatively by students. The vibrant and energetic atmosphere captivated the audience and provided a dynamic platform to highlight talent, confidence, and innovative design concepts. The activity enhanced creativity and self-expression while fostering collaboration and appreciation for fashion as an art form.

    The Literary Club conducted a Slogan Writing Activity on the theme “Anti-Drug Awareness” on 18 February 2026. The objective of the activity was to sensitize students about the harmful effects of drug abuse and encourage them to express their views creatively through impactful words. Students from various departments participated enthusiastically and presented thought-provoking slogans promoting a drug-free society. The activity successfully raised awareness and fostered social responsibility among participants, and was smoothly conducted under the guidance of the Literary Club Coordinator with active support from student representatives.

    On 17 February 2026 (Tuesday), the Media and Marketing Club launched an engaging YouTube series titled “Gen Z in College.” The episode features candid interviews and insightful discussions highlighting the experiences, challenges, aspirations, and digital habits of today’s students.     The Cultural and Arts Club organized the Annual Cultural Fest from 10 February 2026 to 13 February 2026, providing a vibrant platform for students to showcase their artistic talents and creativity. The multi-day celebration featured a variety of cultural events, performances, and competitions, fostering enthusiasm, teamwork, and self-expression. The fest created a lively and festive atmosphere on campus, encouraging students to participate wholeheartedly and celebrate the spirit of art, culture, and unity.
  29. Showcasing Campus Spirit: Creative Digital Promotions for Cultural Fest 2026
    The Media and Marketing Club conducted a digital promotion activity from 01 February to 13 February 2026 by creating engaging reels for the College Cultural Fest 2026, held from 10th to 13th February 2026. The primary objective was to promote the fest, boost student participation, and enhance the college’s social media presence through dynamic short-form video content.
    Interested students actively contributed by developing creative reels that captured cultural performances, behind-the-scenes preparations, and the vibrant enthusiasm of participants. These videos were uploaded on the college’s official Instagram page and YouTube channel, generating excitement and anticipation among students and faculty.
    The initiative successfully increased social media visibility, strengthened digital outreach, and demonstrated the club’s commitment to innovative, student-driven content creation. The club aims to continue such promotional strategies in the future to further expand the college’s digital footprint and engagement.
  30. MoU Signing for Skill Development and Employability Enhancement
    A Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) was signed between KV Ranga Reddy Degree College for Women and TNS India Foundation on 09 February 2025. The MoU establishes a collaborative framework aimed at enhancing students’ communication and aptitude skills, thereby strengthening their employability and overall professional development.
  31. Future Skills AI Initiative: TP Cell Orientation Program
    The Training and Placement Cell conducted a three-day orientation program from 04 February 2026 to 07 February 2026 in collaboration with TNS India Foundation for the upcoming workshop “Future Skills AI Initiative.” Hosted through PluginLive Technology’s online platform, the orientation aimed to enhance students’ communication, aptitude, and foundational skills to improve employability and workplace readiness. The workshop is scheduled across two months (February and March 2026) and includes structured assessments focused on communication and aptitude skills.
  32. Bridging Perspectives: Podcast Episode on "Front Benchers vs Back Benchers"
    The Media and Marketing Club released the second episode of its podcast series on the college’s official YouTube channel, “kvrrdcwofficial,” titled “Front Benchers vs Back Benchers,” on 6 February 2026. The episode explored common stereotypes and student dynamics, encouraging reflection and open discussion among students. It received 625 views along with positive feedback, successfully fostering engagement and meaningful campus dialogue.
  33. Be Ready to Respond: First Aid Awareness Program
    On 05 February 2026 (Thursday), the Community Service Club organized a First Aid Awareness Program to educate students on basic first aid techniques and emergency response. The session focused on handling common injuries such as cuts, burns, fractures, bleeding, and fainting until professional medical help arrives. Club volunteers explained the importance of first aid, demonstrated key procedures, and highlighted essential do’s and don’ts during emergencies. Students participated actively and gained practical, life-saving knowledge, making the program informative, beneficial, and confidence-building.
  34. Training and Placement Drive – Industry Engagement and Career Opportunities
    The TP Cell, in collaboration with Nirmaan Organization, conducted a Training and Placement Drive from 29 January to 02 February 2026 to prepare third-year students of Life Sciences, Physical Sciences, and Commerce for industry opportunities. A total of 125 students participated, and 88 students were shortlisted by the recruiting companies.
    The drive enabled valuable interaction between students and recruiters, paving the way for future employment. The participating companies included Kapston Services Limited, Grow Via Tech, Spectrum Future Tech, Tharare Global Solutions, and SDC Management Solutions.
  35. Breaking Stigma, Building Awareness: JAM Session on World Leprosy Day
    The Health and Nutrition Club organized a JAM (Just A Minute) session on the occasion of World Leprosy Day on 31 January 2026 to promote empathy, awareness, and social inclusion. Centered on the theme "Leprosy is curable, the real challenge is stigma", the session focused on creating awareness about the disease, encouraging early diagnosis to prevent chronic complications, and emphasizing equitable access to quality leprosy treatment. Students participated actively, helping to spread accurate information and foster a compassionate and stigma-free perspective toward leprosy.
  36. Voices of Campus: Launch of Podcast Series on "kvrrdcwofficial"
    The Media and Marketing Club, as part of its initiative to strengthen digital engagement and campus outreach, introduced a podcast segment to share authentic student experiences and insights. The first episode, titled “College Life: Experiences, Memories, Life Lessons (With Seniors – 6th Semester Students),” was recorded on 23 January 2026 and released on 30 January 2026.
    The initiative aims to consistently promote campus culture and amplify student voices, with plans to release a new podcast episode every Friday to enhance the institution’s online presence and foster stronger community connections.

    The Media and Marketing Club launched the college official YouTube channel, "kvrrdcwofficial", on 28 January 2026 as part of a new digital outreach initiative. The channel aims to strengthen the college’s presence across social media platforms, promote campus events, student achievements, and club activities, and enhance engagement with students, faculty, alumni, and the wider community. By creating and sharing dynamic video content and integrating it with platforms like Instagram, Facebook, and Twitter, the initiative also provides members with hands-on experience in digital marketing, video production, and content creation.     The Sports Club organized a Stress-Relieving Skipping Race for BSc and BCom III Semester students on 28 January 2026. Students participated enthusiastically, showcasing agility, stamina, and coordination while enjoying friendly competition. The celebrations commenced at 9:00 AM with the unfurling of the National Flag, followed by the National Anthem and Vande Mataram. Dr. V. Sudha, Secretary, SLV, addressed the gathering, emphasizing unity, patriotism, and democratic values, and expressed pride in the news that Late Shri M. Rama Reddy, Chairman Emeritus, was honored with the prestigious Padma Shri Award by the Government of India.
    The event featured vibrant cultural performances reflecting India’s rich diversity, with students presenting patriotic dances, songs, and skits that showcased the spirit of nationalism and unity.

    As part of the World Investors Week celebrations, the Department of Commerce, KVRRDCW, organized a webinar on "Financial Literacy Awareness Programme" on 8th October 2025. The session was conducted by the Knowledge Growth Foundation, New Delhi, in collaboration with the Aditya Birla Group. The objective of the webinar was to create awareness among students about the importance of financial literacy, investment planning, and the responsible management of personal finances. The session emphasized key aspects such as budgeting, saving, investment avenues, and the significance of early financial planning.
    A total of 47 B.Com students actively participated in the webinar. The session was also attended by faculty members from the Department of Commerce.

The program was designed to train students in Financial and Capital Markets, equipping them with practical knowledge and technical skills relevant to the Fintech industry. The course focused on key areas such as Fintech concepts, working with Spreadsheets and SQL, and Business Analytics and Data Visualization using Power BI.   146. On 30 July 2025, the Community Service Club organised the Good touch and Bad touch awareness program at Government Primary School, Dhoolpet, Hyderabad.   148. Spot the Spoof: Sharpening Commerce Minds at KVRRDCW
    The Commerce Club of KVRRDCW successfully organized "Spot the Spoof" on 29th July 2025, an engaging and intellectually stimulating activity specifically designed for Commerce students. The activity aimed to enhance students' critical thinking and analytical skills by challenging them to identify false statements related to commerce. During the event, participants were presented with three statements pertaining to various aspects of the commerce field, of which one was deliberately false. Students were tasked with carefully analyzing each statement and selecting the incorrect one. The activity fostered a deeper understanding of key concepts in commerce, encouraged attentive reading, and promoted healthy competition among students. It not only sharpened their ability to discern misinformation but also provided an enjoyable platform for learning beyond textbooks, emphasizing the importance of accuracy and critical evaluation in the business world.

The workshop focused on integrating Power BI with SQL databases to create dynamic reports and data models.   154. The OPOS Club on 24th July, 2025, organized the Zero Wastage Recipe activity to promote sustainable cooking and reduce food wastage. Students prepared nutritious dishes using leftovers, surplus, or typically discarded ingredients.   155. The Bio-Science Club successfully conducted an engaging hands-on activity on “Hemoglobin Estimation” on 24th July 2025. Students from both Physical Sciences and Commerce streams enthusiastically participated, gaining practical knowledge about the role of hemoglobin in blood and its significance in diagnosing conditions such as anemia.

  168. On July 11, 2025, the Media and Marketing Club of KVRRDCW organized an engaging session on Digital Poster Creation. On Thursday, 10th July 2025, the Bio-Science Club organized an engaging activity on Blood Grouping and Rh Typing to foster scientific awareness and spark interest in life science among students. The primary objective was to determine the blood group and Rh factor of each participant and to enhance understanding of their significance in medical practice.
    Through this hands-on experience, students explored the principles of blood grouping and Rh typing, gaining insight into the critical role these factors play in blood transfusions, organ transplants, and overall healthcare. The activity not only enriched students' theoretical knowledge but also emphasized the real-world importance of accurate blood typing in saving lives and supporting medical decisions.

Sheresha, an accomplished alumna of the BSc (Mb Bt C) program (Batch 2018–2021), interacted with final-year Life Science students and second-year students of Biotechnology and Biomedical Science on Thursday, 10th July 2025. During the session, she shared her academic journey, from undergraduate studies to her current achievements in postgraduate education and research.
    The session was highly inspiring, as Ms. Sheresha offered valuable career guidance, emphasizing the importance of pursuing higher education in the field of Life Sciences.   173. Value Added Course on Soft Skills and Employability Skills
    In association with Magic Bus India Foundation, the college conducted a 15-day Value Added Course — a training program on Soft Skills and Employability Skills for final-year students. The program was held from 26 June 2025 to 09 July 2025, with 2-hour sessions each day. The program focused on developing 21st-century life and employability skills, preparing students for entry-level jobs and interviews. Additionally, participants received technical training in emerging digital domains such as Artificial Intelligence (AI), Cloud Computing, Cybersecurity, and Digital Literacy, aimed at equipping them with the competencies required to secure white-collar employment opportunities. The course was organised by the Training & Placement Cell and coordinated by the TP Cell Coordinator Dr Shariqua Nishat, Lecturer in Commerce.

  175. The Coding Club successfully organized a Workshop on Cyber Security on 7th July 2025. The session aimed to introduce the foundational concepts of cyber security, promote safe internet practices, and raise awareness about common digital threats that users may encounter in the digital space.
    Presented by the BSc 5th Semester students, the workshop was tailored for the BSc 3rd Semester students. It was an interactive and informative session, engaging participants through discussions, demonstrations, and practical insights into maintaining online safety.

  176. On 6th July 2025, the members of the Community Service Club actively volunteered at the Tholi Ekadashi celebrations held at Sri Jungal Vithoba Devasthanam, Gowliguda, Hyderabad. June 2025: A total of 50 students from the BCom program have actively participated in the Short Course conducted by the National Institute of Securities Markets (NISM) in collaboration with the Securities and Exchange Board of India (SEBI). The course, aimed at enhancing financial literacy and investor awareness, was conducted during June 2025. They have successfully cleared the SEBI Investor Awareness Test.

  4. A guest lecture on "Applied Biostatistics" was held on 19th April 2025 for students of BSc Biomedical Science and related courses. Mr. Ch. Raghavendra Rao, Scientist-C from ICMR-NIN, delivered an engaging session, emphasizing the role of biostatistics in Pharmaceutical Sciences through practical examples. The lecture was highly informative and significantly enhanced the students' understanding of statistical applications in the life sciences.
  5. Department of Zoology at KVRRDCW, in partnership with the Blood Warriors Foundation, organized an HPLC blood test camp for Thalassemia disorder on April 3, 2025, on campus. Over 100 students participated, voluntarily providing blood samples for testing. Many students also made monetary donations to support the camp, reflecting their commitment to the cause.
    Mr. J. Nagaraju from the Blood Warriors Foundation, alongside his team, conducted the event effectively, creating awareness among the students about the importance of blood donation and the value of testing for Thalassemia. Key points discussed included the significance of early detection of the disorder and ways to manage and overcome Thalassemia, which were highly informative and beneficial for all attendees.
  6. Second Semester BSc Biomedical Science students visited Mahavir Hospital and Research Centre on April 2 and 3, 2025, to gain practical exposure that complemented their academic studies. During the visit, they observed informative demonstrations in both the Physiotherapy and Pathology departments, enhancing their understanding of real-world applications in these medical fields.
  7. A group of 14 BSc and BCom students completed a one-month internship from March 1 to March 30, 2025, at the Osmania Technology Business Incubator (OTBI) alongside the Central Facilities & Research Development (CFRD) at Osmania University. The internship was conducted under the guidance of Prof. Harinarayana, Advisor at OTBI, providing the students with valuable hands-on experience and insights into the business incubation process and research development.
  8. A total of 5 students from BSc (Life Sciences) have done Internship at Tech Mind Sparc Innovations from November 2024 to March 2025.
  9. A 200 hours training program was organized in association with TNS Foundation India from January 20, 2025, to March 25, 2025. This program was specifically designed for third-year undergraduate (BCom) students, aiming to provide them with essential skills and knowledge to enhance their academic and professional development. The training was delivered through both on-campus and online modes, ensuring a flexible learning experience for all participants.

On March 19, 2025, the Electoral Literacy Club organized a Poster Presentation and Campaign aimed at educating and empowering students about the significance of voting, the electoral process, and the responsibilities of good citizenship. During the session, the team discussed several key aspects, including: competitive exams - qualifications required for various exams, Exam coaching and preparation, ICET exam registration and preparation, which is provided free of cost.
    The session provided students with a clear understanding of exam strategies, career-building opportunities, and effective preparation techniques. Additionally, the team generously distributed free notebooks to all participants and motivated them to pursue their career goals with confidence.
    The program was highly informative and beneficial, equipping students with the necessary resources and guidance to excel in competitive exams.
  19. The Cyberensis Program was successfully conducted by Mr. M. Krishna Chaitanya, CEO & Founder of Cyberensis Infosec, on 20th February 2025 at the KVRRDCW Campus Computer Lab. The session covered a wide range of topics, including: Cyber Security and its industry relevance, Ethical Hacking and the need for cyber security, Types of Hackers, Password Security and best practices for protecting credentials, Social Security Measures, The Art of Human Hacking, Phishing Attacks and Email Scams.
    Mr. Krishna Chaitanya provided in-depth explanations on these topics, offering valuable insights and practical guidance. The interactive session allowed students to engage actively, ask questions, and gain a clearer understanding of cyber security threats and protective measures.
    The program was highly beneficial, equipping students with essential knowledge and skills to navigate the evolving cyber landscape.

The Green Thumb Initiative, organized by the ECO Club on 19th February 2025, is dedicated to empowering students with the knowledge, skills, and values needed to become environmentally conscious leaders. Through this initiative, we aim to promote sustainability, environmental stewardship, and civic engagement within our college community. Our goal is to cultivate a lasting culture of responsibility and innovation that extends beyond the classroom, inspiring future generations to prioritize the planet and make a positive impact on society.
  21. A Nutrition Exhibition (featuring Poster and Model Presentations) was conducted by the Health and Nutrition Club on Wednesday, 19th February 2025. The event aimed to raise awareness about healthy eating habits, as a lack of knowledge is often the main reason behind unhealthy food choices. By educating participants about proper nutrition, the exhibition encouraged healthier lifestyles.
  22. A seminar on "How to Control the Mind" was organized on 18th February 2025 for the 2nd Semester students by Adhyatmik Vishwa Vidyalaya. The session was graced by Mr. Amol Bhai, an advocate practicing in the Supreme Court and High Court, who shared his profound wisdom and experiences on the subject. His insights provided valuable guidance on mastering one's thoughts, enhancing focus, and achieving inner peace. The seminar was well-received by the students, who engaged actively in the discussion and gained practical techniques to cultivate mindfulness and self-discipline.
  23. The One Pot One Shot (OPOS) Cooking Club was inaugurated on February 7, 2025, by Dr. V Sudha, Secretary of SLV, and was graced by Sri G Surender Reddy garu, Board Member of SLV. OPOS is a revolutionary cooking technique that empowers anyone to cook cleaner, greener, healthier, faster, and tastier food. The inauguration of the OPOS Cooking Club is a great opportunity for students to learn and master this innovative cooking technique.
  24. The annual Food Fest organized by the Health and Nutrition Club was held on February 5, 2025. The event featured an impressive array of options, including snacks, main courses, desserts, drinks, and shakes, all expertly prepared by students from various departments. The Food Fest was a resounding success, not only providing a delightful culinary experience for the students but also offering them a valuable opportunity to learn and develop essential skills such as teamwork, project management, and food processing techniques.

The Awards Ceremony recognizing the Academic Achievers Awards for Batch 2021-24, as well as the Merit Awards for the 2nd, 4th, and 6th Semesters of the Academic Year 2023-24 and Attendance Awards for the 1st, 3rd, and 5th Semesters of the Academic Year 2024-25, was held on February 1, 2025 (Saturday) from 9:15 AM to 12:30 PM. This prestigious ceremony aimed to honor and celebrate students for their exceptional academic performance and exemplary attendance.
  26. The 76th Republic Day was celebrated with great enthusiasm on January 26, 2025, Sunday. The flag unfurling ceremony took place at 9:00 AM in the college premises, marking the beginning of the celebrations. The Principal had the honor of unfurling the national flag, a moment that instilled pride and patriotism among all present.
    Following the flag hoisting, students participated in various cultural activities, speeches, songs, and dances, showcasing their talent and dedication. These performances celebrated the country's diversity and unity, fostering a spirit of camaraderie among students and staff alike.
    The festivities culminated in a prize distribution ceremony, where awards were presented to the winners of various competitions held in the lead-up to Republic Day. The recognition of the 1st and 2nd place winners not only celebrated their hard work and creativity but also encouraged other students to engage in similar activities in the future.
    Overall, the event was a resounding success, reflecting the values of the Republic and the spirit of the college community.

The Staff Annual Sports Meet of Sangam Laxmibai Vidyapeet on 18th January 2025, held at the expansive playground, was a remarkable celebration of teamwork and camaraderie among faculty and staff from SLV and its five constituent institutions. Throughout the day, cheering and laughter filled the air as teams competed with excitement and enthusiasm.
  28. A successful two-day health camp was organized by the Health and Nutrition Club in collaboration with Rainbow Hospitals, Hyderabad. The event took place on January 9-10, 2025, with a primary focus on promoting awareness among young women regarding their health, hygiene, and reproductive well-being. Objective: The main objective of the health camp was to educate young women on critical aspects of their health, specifically addressing topics such as menstrual health, reproductive health, and general wellness.

Ms Syeda Baseera Amreen, Roll No: 111322487045 has presented a poster entitled “Epigenetics in Cancer Prevention and Treatment” in the National Seminar on “Changing Horizons in Genetics & Biotechnology (CHGB-2024)” organised by the Department of Genetics & Biotechnology, Osmania University, Hyderabad held on 09th December, 2024.

On November 4, 2024, KVRRDCW Campus hosted a Mega placements drive featuring several prominent companies, including HRR Next Solutions, SS Solutions, Tech Mahindra, Genpact, JIO, Q Connect, Corpone Global Solutions, and SBI Credit Cards. The event was organized in collaboration with the Magic Bus India Foundation, providing students with a valuable opportunity for job placements.
    A total of 40 students from graduating batches spanning 2019 to 2024 participated in the drive. The outcomes of the drive are: Just Dial: 5 selections, JIO: 2 selections, Tech Mahindra: 1 student shortlisted for the further selection process.
    This drive marked a significant step for the students in securing employment opportunities and showcased the collaborative efforts of the college and its partners in supporting student careers.
  31. A two-week online internship focused on Cyber Security, organized by IBM, took place from October 21, 2024, to November 4, 2024, specifically for BSc (Computer Science) students. The internship aimed to provide participants with hands-on experience and a comprehensive understanding of key concepts in the field of Cyber Security.
    During this internship period, one dedicated student registered and successfully completed the course, gaining valuable insights and skills that will enhance their knowledge and employability in the fast-growing tech industry.

On October 18, 2024, Tech Mind Sparc Innovations, in collaboration with the All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE), organized a free online webinar focused on career guidance and enhancement specifically for BSc (Life Sciences) students. This initiative was designed to provide valuable insights and support to students as they navigate their career paths in the life sciences field.
    The resource person for the webinar, Mr. Vinay Teja, shared his expertise on various essential topics, including, Importance of Apprenticeship, Core Skills and Competencies and Technologies in Life Sciences
  33. Ms Akhtar Unissa and Ms Masooma Begum Lecturers in Commerce have participated in “Online Short Term Course on ICT Tools” organized by UGC-Malaviya Mission Teacher Training Centre, Osmania University, Hyderabad, Telangana from 24th to 30th September 2024 and Obtained grade “A”.
  34. On September 18, 2024, a campus placement drive was conducted by EC Overseas for the recruitment of Marketing Assistants and Counsellors. The event drew participation from five enthusiastic students, all eager to embark on their professional journeys.
    The selection process involved interviews and assessments designed to evaluate the candidates' suitability for the roles. Out of the five students who attended the drive, three were successfully shortlisted for the positions.
  35. Ms K Sunitha, Founder & Director, Eduventure Careers Overseas Education and her team conducted a Seminar on 18.09.2024, Wednesday for the final year students. They shared valuable insights regarding overseas education and placements. They have also conducted a placement drive for various positions in their office.
  36. Ms Aditi Jain of Reliance Foundation Undergraduate Scholarships graced us on 13.09.2024, Friday and addressed the 1st Year students. She has discussed and interacted well with students about eligibility, registration process, application form filling and online test for the UG Merit Scholarships offered by Reliance Foundation. Awarded on a merit-cum-means basis to meritorious students, the total amount of scholarship available over the duration of the degree programme will be up to Rs 2 Lakhs.

  40. KVRRDCW organized a Career Guidance and Mock Test session on 04th & 06th, Sep, 2024, led by Ms. D. Mahitha, Aircraft Maintenance Engineer at IndiGo Airlines, in association with IACE. The sessions included guidance and mock test for students at KVRRDCW for various upcoming competitive exams in Public and Private sector. She has presented in such a way to make students understand about various job opportunities, Job openings, Government job notifications, etc., She personally answers all the queries of students, motivated them to participate in more such programmes for their future employability.

  45. The 78th Independence Day, 15th August, 2024, was celebrated with great enthusiasm and reverence at KVRRDCW. The event was organized to honor the significance of our nation's freedom and to foster a sense of patriotism among students and staff. The celebrations were marked by a series of engaging activities, performances, and speeches that highlighted our rich history and cultural heritage. The day’s activities fostered a sense of unity and pride, making it a memorable occasion for everyone involved.
  46. An Innovative talk on Financial Wellness was held on 08.08.2024 for the Commerce students and staff in college premises. The Resource person Mr. Rishabh Lumia addressed the participants. He is the Co-founder of Knowise and also a trainer with NISM (An entity of SEBI). He talked about spreading Financial Awareness and Financial Empowerment to manage our money more effectively to achieve Financial Well Being.

A seminar on “Career Opportunities in Hospital & Healthcare Management” was organised on 07th August, 2024, Wednesday in the College Premises for the benefit of III Year BSc Life Sciences Students. Dr Reshma M Gopan, Assistant Professor, Dr Kakarla Subba Rao Centre for Health Care Management, Administrative Staff College of India, Banjara Hills, Hyderabad attended as resource person, accompanied by Ms Anitha J, Coordinator, Post Graduate Diploma in Management (Hospital Management).

A Cancer Awareness Program was organised on 06.08.2024, Tuesday in association with RENOVA BIBI CANCER HOSPITALS, Hyderabad for educating the students about cancer prevention, early detection, and treatment options. The program was organised aimed to increase understanding about the disease, promote healthy lifestyle choices, and encourage regular screenings, which can significantly improve outcomes.
  49. Commerce Department celebrated the International Commerce Day on August 05, 2024 with great enthusiasm. The event aimed to highlight the significance of global trade, economic cooperation, and the role of commerce in fostering international relations. A quiz competition was organised to the Commerce students to mark this special day of Commerce. It aimed to engage participants in an interactive learning experience and foster a deeper understanding of the complexities of international commerce. The quiz competition was a successful and engaging part of International Commerce Day celebrations.

Dr Raju Padiya, Assistant Professor, Chairman, Board of Studies in Nutrition, Department of Biochemistry, Osmania University, Hyderabad delivered a guest Lecture to the BSc Life Sciences students on 22.07.2024, Monday on “Nutritional Health Trends in Diabetes”. The lecture was truly enlightening and was appreciated by all who attended.

Mr Amol Bhai (advocate of the Supreme Court and High Court) was the speaker who generously shared his wisdom and experiences.

Mr A Narendhar Nayak, Lecturer in Statistics had successfully participated in National Level Statistics 18th Annual Awareness E-Quiz organised by Department of Mathematics & Statistics, St. Francis College, Bengaluru held on 29th June 2024. The event was organised on the occasion of National Statistics Day.
  56. June – July 2024: Faculty have participated and successfully completed the UGC Sponsored Online Short-Term Course on “NEP-ORIENTATION AND SENSITIZATION PROGRAMME” conducted by UGC-MMTTC (Malaviya Mission Teacher Training Centre), Osmania University, Hyderabad.
    The course objective was to build competencies in the faculty for better teaching, learning and research by exposing them to Indian values, updating knowledge and skills, and aligning teaching, learning and research with the needs of society and NEP 2020.

  3. The Electoral Literacy Club conducted a campaign on 09.05.2024 to encourage participation in voting. As part of the initiative, a special invitation card was designed and displayed to invite and motivate people to exercise their right to vote.
  4. The main reason behind unhealthy food habits is the lack of knowledge. Hence an awareness about food habits is important. Hence “Nutrition Exhibition” was conducted by the Department of Nutrition on 29th April 2024, Monday.
  5. April 2024: A series of campaigns entitled "wall of democracy" (by way of Poster Presentations) were conducted by the ELC to create awareness on the culture of electoral participation and right to vote.
  6. The ECO Club, on 27th April 2024, promoted an environmental stewardship by repurposing plastic waste into bird feeders, supporting local wildlife populations, and fostering community engagement in sustainability efforts.
  7. In association with United Way of Hyderabad, an NGO, the College conducted an Employability Skills Program on 26.04.2024, Friday for the final year students. Senior trainer Mr. Nayeem Haqqani along with his team members Mr. Ravi Teja Myakala and Ms Varsha Adepu carried out the training sessions.
  8. The College organised a workshop on 24.04.2024, Wednesday for the 2nd Semester students on "Three ways to build a career". The resource person Mr R.S Srikanth, Founder, Pinco Automated Interview App, addressed the students on career building skills. Students enhanced their creative thinking abilities with their active participation in the workshop.
  9. The Department of Biotechnology hosted an outreach program titled "Early Detection and Prevention of Breast Cancer" on 30th March 2024. The program was conducted by Dr. A. Sandhya, Associate Professor, Department of Genetics, Osmania University, in association with Dr. Lopamudra Das Roy, a Distinguished Cancer Scientist, Research Professor, and the Founder & President of Breast Cancer Hub.
  10. The department of Biotecnology organised a seminar on “Advances in Genetics and Genomics” on 11.03.2024, Monday. Dr A Sandhya, Assistant Professor, Department of Genetics, Osmania University attended as the resource Person.

Mr R Bala Bhaskar, Principal of KVRRDCW, was awarded the Innovative Teaching Excellence Award by the "Artificial Intelligence Medical and Engineering Researchers Society" (AIMERS) on 02nd March 2024, Saturday. This prestigious award has been approved by the AIMER Board of Members as a testament for his outstanding contributions to the field.
  12. KVRRDCW celebrated its annual cultural fest for the A.Y. 2023-24 from 12th to 15th February, 2024. The cultural activities bring to the surface the hidden talents of students. The students and staff of KVRRDCW saw four days of excellent display of talent, competitive spirit and excitement during the Cultural festival. Nothing was missing from the four day carnival; right from dance to music, drama, Fashion Show, etc.
  13. 75th Republic Day was celebrated on 26.01.2024, Friday. The flag unfurling ceremony was held at 9:00 Hrs in the College premises. The flag unfurling was done by the Principal and students performed with march-past, speeches, songs and dances. The celebrations are followed by prizes distribution for the 1st and 2nd place winners of various competitions’.

  15. The department of Nutrition conducted the Food Fest on 25th January 2024. The event was successfully coordinated with the help of Ms S Hemalatha, Vice Principal, Program coordinator Ms G Sushmitha, Lecturer and other faculties of Life Sciences Department. The menu for the fest included snacks, main course, desserts, drinks and shakes which were totally prepared by the students of all departments. Food fest was completed successfully. It created a good impact on the students where they learned to work in team and other various aspects involved in the management of a food processing.

ECO Club organized a face Painting competition on 23rd January 2024, cantered around the theme of nature, encouraging artistic expression and connecting participants with the beauty of the natural world. Impact: Blends creativity with environmental appreciation, fostering a deeper connection to nature through artistic representation.
  17. In association with Magic Bus India Foundation the college conducted a training program in soft skills and employability skills for final year students. The program was held from 02.01.2024 to 06.01.2024 for BSc (Physical Sciences) & BCom students and from 08.01.2024 to 12.01.2024 for BSc (Life Sciences) students.
  18. IBM SkillsBuild & CSRBOX Micro-Internship Certified Programs on “Data Visualisation using AI Tools” and “Placement assistance Program” was organised for the UG students. A total of 10 students registered for the internship programs and 5 have successfully completed. The internship program was held from 21.12.2023 to 04.01.2024.

Ms Noor Jahan, Lecturer in Microbiology participated in the DBT-TSCOST sponsored DBT Skill Vigyan Program: Faculty Training Program on “Hands-on Skill Development Training on Advanced Areas of Life Sciences and Biotechnology for Undergraduate and Postgraduate Faculty” during 11th to 23rd Dec 2023 at Centre for Plant Molecular Biology, Osmania University, Hyderabad.

  22. A 3-day Campus Recruitment Training program was organised during 23rd to 25th November, 2023. The program was organised to make the entire final year students gain valuable skills that are required to face the forthcoming placement drives.

With an objective to raise awareness about personal hygiene and environmental concerns through informative paper presentation, on 24th November 2023, a Paper Presentation activity on “Personal Hygiene and Environment” was conducted by the ECO Club. This encourages research and presentation skills while disseminating valuable information on crucial topics.
  24. Organised an Interaction program on 24.11.2023 for overseas education by Eduventure Careers for III year students. A team of counsellors and financial experts visited for guiding the students regarding stem courses, scholarships procedures, educational loans and other financial matters.
  25. IBM SkillsBuild & CSRBOX Micro-Internship Certified Programs on “Advanced MS Excel” and “Data Analytics” was organised for the UG students. A total of 60 students registered for the internship programs and 22 have successfully completed. The internship program was held from 06.11.2023 to 20.11.2023.
  26. Sangam Laxmibai Vidyapeet celebrated its Staff Annual meet on 11th November, 2023. The Vidyapeets expansive playground served as the venue for the day's events. Staff of SLV and its five constituent institutions participated in a variety of games & sports.
  27. On 10th November, 2023 the ECO Club was inaugurated with a symbolic sapling plantation in the Open Auditorium Area by the Principal. Additionally, to promote environmental consciousness through practical action and creative expression, addressing the ecological impact of festivals a skit on eco-friendly Diwali during the Diwali occasion was presented by the ECO Club student members.
  28. On the occasion of International Accounting Day, 10th November, the department of Commerce organised a Poster Presentation competition on 10.11.2023. The students of Commerce Department actively participated by preparing and delivering through the posters. The students had got a better understanding of related topics covered.
  29. To develop a captivating digital logo to ignite students' interest and enhance their technical skills, the ECO Club conducted “Digital Logo Formation” on 09th November, 2023.   30. Quizzes help one gain a broad or specialized understanding of a subject. To promote that, the Department of Physical Sciences conducted a Technical quiz to the BSc Physical Sciences students on 09.11.2023, Thursday.
  31. A slogan writing competition was conducted by the ELC on 07.11.2023. A slogan is a series of words that summarise the purpose of Electoral rights.
  32. A seminar on “Microbes and Sustainability” was organised on 07th November, 2023 for the Microbiology students of Life Sciences Department. Prof. B Sandeepta, Head, Department of Microbiology, Osmania University attended as Resource Person and delivered the seminar.
  33. The department of Life Sciences conducted a Poster Presentation competition on 06.11.2023, Monday. This event was organised to sharpen student presentation skills. Life Sciences students actively participated in explaining quickly and clearly about their findings in various areas of Life Sciences.

Ms MEHTAB KHATOON (111322405069), Ms RAWAAN (111322405084), Ms SHAIK NIHAT (111322405103), Ms. SHAIMA UNNISA (111322405104) and Ms SYEDA MISBAH (111322405109) had participated in the “VIRE LAUNGES” quiz competition organised by the Department of Commerce, St. Mary’s College, Hyderabad, on 03rd November, 2023.
  35. The ELC in collaboration with Systematic Voters’ Education and Electoral Participation (SVEEP), on 29.10.2023 conducted a campaign within the college on “recheck your vote” and to download “voters helpline app”.
  36. On 13.10.2023, a one-on-one interaction program for career guidance & overseas education was organised by Eduventure Careers for III year students. Students participated actively and cleared their doubts.

Ms R Jhansi, Lecturer in Microbiology & Mr A Narendhar Nayak, Lecturer in Statistics and a group of eight students from II & III Year participated in Prof C.R.Rao’s Memorial Lecture on “A Matter of Direction – An Introduction to Directional Data” organised by the Department of Statistics, Aurora’s Degree & PG College, Hyderabad held on October 10th, 2023.
  38. KVRRDCW celebrated 07th October 2023, Friday as the Traditional Day. It’s a day designated for all to come in traditional attire from their home state, or specific culture of their choice. The Traditional Day was celebrated with great gusto and enthusiasm. Everyone at the institute came dressed in their best ethnic attires. Students, teaching and non-teaching staff participated with great ecstasy. Lots of pictures were clicked by everyone to create memories of this beautiful day filled with joy and festivity.
  39. A seminar on Internship and Career development Courses was presented by IBM for all UG students. The resource person Ms Anjali Verma, Associate Manager, IBM SkillsBuild-CSRBOX delivered a talk on IBM’s Skill Build Internship Programs for job seekers. This was organised on 05.10.2023.

Ms. ZEENATH BEGUM (111321487057) has won FIRST prize in the quiz competition conducted in the Three Days Hands-on Workshop on “CRISPR/Cas9 Based Genome Editing Technology”, jointly organised by CSIR-IICT, Hyderabad and the Central Facilities for Research and Development (CFRD) during 25th – 27th September, 2023, at Osmania University, Hyderabad.

  44. 77th Independence Day was celebrated on 15th August 2023. Competitions in Cocurricular & Extra Curricular activities were conducted prior to 15.08.2023 and prizes are distributed to the winners, top two, on Independence Day.

  46. A guest lecture was organised to the first year students on 11.08.2023, Friday. Dr. Usha Gaushal, Consultant Obstetrician & Gynaecologist, ONUS Hospitals, Hyderabad attended as resource person and addressed the students on “Health challenges in girls & women, Prevention & Treatments”.
  47. A group of 24 students of 5th Semester BSc Life Sciences participated in One Week, One Lab celebrations on 01st August 2023 at CSIR – Centre for Cellular and Molecular Biology (CCMB), Hyderabad.

  1. Ms UZMA TABASSUM (111321487053) secured FIRST position in National Level Handmade Factsheet Competition organised by Department of Microbiology, St Ann’s College for Women, Hyderabad. The competition was organised on the occasion of “World Microbiome Day” on 27th June, 2023.
  2. A group of 12 students from 4th Semester BSc (Mb Bt C) actively participated in the workshop on “Modern Techniques of Life Sciences & Chemical Sciences” held during 3rd& 4th May, 2023 organised by the Department of Microbiology, Genetics & Chemistry, MNR Degree & PG College, Hyderabad.
  3. A seminar was organised to the Second year students on 15.04.2023, Saturday. Mr. Amarnath Rao, Senior Corporate Trainer, a certified trainer in Law of Attraction attended as resource person and delivered talk on “How to convert weaknesses into strengths”.
  4. A seminar was organised to the First year students on 25.03.2023, Saturday. Ms K Brahmara, Visiting Professor - Department of Soft Skills & Business Communication, IBS - Hyderabad attended as resource person and delivered talk on “Own your Future”.
  5. The Merit Awards ceremony of 2nd, 4th & 6th Semesters of A.Y. 2021-22 and Attendance Awards ceremony of 1st, 3rd & 5th Semesters of Academic Year 2022 – 23 was held on on 18.03.2023, Saturday from 9:15 hrs to 12:30 hrs.
  6. The annual cultural festival of the college was held from 14.03.2023 to 17.03.2023 in the auditorium of RCC, SLV. The cultural festival is a four-day long program, where the students take a break from their daily curriculum to indulge into a fiesta of various cultural programs like Indian Classical Music Singing, fashion shows, Bollywood dance, folk opera, ultra violet dance event, etc. The function highlighted many aspects of our culture before the audience. Everybody enjoyed the function and appreciated the laudable performances of the students.
  7. To encourage a healthy level of competition and also bonding in teams as they work together to achieve a goal, Annual Sports Day and Annual Cultural Day was held for the staff of Sangam Laxmibai Vidyapeet and its five constituent-institutions on 11.02.2023 and 11.03.2023 respectively. It was a day filled with fervor and excitement, experienced amidst thrills, shrills, and cheers.

  9. Ms. AMBOJI ARCHITHA (111320588002) and Ms. PENDYALA DIVYA (111320588034) won SECOND prize in Inter-Collegiate PPT competition organised by Department of Botany, Sarojini Naidu Vanita Maha Vidyalaya, Hyderabad held on 24.02.2023 on the eve of National Science Day.

Ms. KANTEKAR VAISHNAVI (111321487020) of 4th Semester BSc (Mb Bt C) won FIRST prize in Elocution competition conducted in Two Day National Seminar on *Science and Technology in India : Achievements and Challenges* organized by Department of Botany, Osmania University, Hyderabad on the eve of National Science Day (NSD-2023) supported by Telangana State Council of Science & Technology (TSCOST) during 14-15 Feb, 2023,
  11. Food Festival was held on 31.01.2023 by the Department of Life Sciences. The event assists students not only to showcase their talent and skills in different cuisines organized but also to learn hospitality. The event was a great success with a wide variety of food and creative decoration of stalls.
  12. 74th Republic Day was celebrated on 26.01.2023. The flag unfurling ceremony was held at 9:00 Hrs in the College premises. The flag unfurling was done by the Principal and students performed with march-past, speeches, songs and dances. The celebrations are followed by prizes distribution for the 1st and 2nd place winners of various competitions’.
  13. A seminar was organised to the Final year students on 23.01.2023, Monday. Mr Sriharsh Vaidya, Manager, ISKCON, Hyderabad attended as resource person and delivered talk on “Developing a Healthy Relationship with our Mind”.
  14. Ms. KOLLOJU SHIVAKEERTHANA (111320484023), Ms MEHRAJ UNISSA (111320484031) SANIA FAREED (111321484029) and Ms. ASMA NOUSHEEN (111322484009) won FIRST prize in the Inter-Collegiate Quiz competition of Nutrition “Food for Thought” organised by Prakara (an EdTech company), Hyderabad held on 17.12.2022.
  15. Celebrating the traditional day is a way to teach values, build relationships, foster a sense of belonging and create positive memories. It is also a help to be grounded in one’s culture as it reinforces the ideals of integrity, freedom and unity. KVRRDCW celebrated the Traditional Day on 15.12.2022, Thursday.
  16. On the completion of 25 years of meritorious service to the cause of education, KVRRDCW has celebrated its Silver Jubilee on 26th November, 2022, Saturday from 9:30 hrs to 16:30 hrs in the College premises amidst great pomp and fervour.

Ms. AKIFA FATIMA (111321487003) won CONSOLATION prize in the State Level Elocution (English) competition for University Students in Telangana held on topic “Hyderabad Liberation Movement – Struggles and Sacrifices” organised by Raj Bhavan, Telangana on 17.09.2022 on the eve of Hyderabad Liberation Day.
  20. KVRRDCW observed 75 years of Liberation of Hyderabad on 17th September 2022 to signify the merger of erstwhile Hyderabad State with the Indian Union. To mark this special day, flag hoisting ceremony was organized in the college campus. As part of the celebrations various Cocurricular Competitions were conducted to the students on the theme “Importance of Sep 17” and distributed prizes to the toppers.
