Overview

Established in 1994, KV Ranga Reddy Degree College for Women (KVRRDCW) has long been a pillar of quality education, dedicated to empowering women through academic excellence. The KVRRDCW Alumni Association, registered under the Telangana Societies Registration Act., 2001, serves as a vital link between the institution and its alumni, fostering global connections and engagement. It plays a key role in mentoring students, supporting career development, and contributing to institutional growth.

Through active involvement in academic, professional, and social initiatives, alumni continue to give back to their alma mater—strengthening the legacy of KVRRDCW and inspiring future generations to strive for excellence.

The KVRRDCW Alumni Association is a non-profit body dedicated to strengthening the bond between the college and its former students. Its key objectives include:

  • Student Member - Free
  • Member - Annual fee of Rs. 250/-
  • Life Member - Rs. 500 + Annual fee of Rs. 250/-

Activities

The KVRRDCW Alumni Association organizes a range of academic, professional, and social activities aimed at strengthening engagement between alumni and the institution. Key initiatives include student mentoring sessions, career guidance programs, placement support, alumni meet-ups, and networking events.

  • 🌸 Inspiring Journeys – Alumni Success Stories
    As part of the International Women’s Day celebrations held on 07 March 2026 (Saturday) under the theme “Empowered Women, Empower the Nation,” the Alumni Association organized a Success Story Session. Accomplished alumni of the college visited and shared their real-life success stories, inspiring students to pursue their goals with confidence and determination while reinforcing the spirit of women empowerment.   • Alumni Meet 2025: A New Chapter of Connection
    The Alumni Meet of KV Ranga Reddy Degree College for Women was held on 22nd November 2025, Saturday in the college campus, with nearly 100 alumni participating. The Principal announced the launch of the "KVRRDCW Alumni Association", outlining its objectives, membership types, and fee structure, and shared that formal registration would begin soon. The event was filled with nostalgic moments as alumni shared memories and entertained the gathering with songs, marking a positive beginning toward stronger alumni connections and future collaboration.
  • Alumni Talk: Interactive Session on Women Safety
    An interactive session on Women Safety was held on 21st August 2025 for second-year students. The session was led by Ms. A Sai Tejaswi, an accomplished alumna of the B.Sc. (M E CS) program (2016–2019) and currently Trainee Counsellor at the Women Safety Wing, Telangana State Police Department. Ms. Tejaswi discussed domestic violence, safety measures, legal frameworks, and women safety apps. The session highlighted prevention of violence, safe public spaces, support systems, and legal protection for women. Students gained valuable awareness, confidence, and knowledge about resources, strategies, and community engagement to promote women’s safety.
  • Ms. K. Sheresha, an accomplished alumna of the BSc (Mb Bt C) program (Batch 2018–2021), interacted with final-year Life Science students and second-year students of Biotechnology and Biomedical Science on Thursday, 10th July 2025. During the session, she shared her academic journey, from undergraduate studies to her current achievements in postgraduate education and research.
    The session was highly inspiring, as Ms. Sheresha offered valuable career guidance, emphasizing the importance of pursuing higher education in the field of Life Sciences. She encouraged students to prepare for competitive entrance exams such as BRET and ICMR-JRF, and provided insights into various opportunities including national-level fellowships, research internships, and academic projects.
