Internship: A Bridge Between Theory and Practice

    Overview

An internship is a valuable learning experience through which students strengthen and expand the theoretical knowledge and skills acquired in the classroom by engaging in practical, real-world activities. It facilitates:

  1. The acquisition of practical skills such as observation, research, and information processing.
  2. Familiarization with the key objectives and pressing issues in their field of specialization.

Internships offer students the opportunity to gain hands-on experience in industrial or organizational settings.     Objectives of the Internship:
  1. To provide exposure to an industrial environment that cannot be simulated in a classroom setting, thereby helping to develop competent professionals for the industry.
  2. To offer opportunities for students to learn, understand, and enhance real-time technical and/or managerial skills required in the workplace.
  3. To familiarize students with current technological developments relevant to their area of specialization.

    Internships 2025-26
  1. Two final-year B.Com students were successfully placed for a paid internship at TNS India Foundation. They will be working on the C2FC and Plugin Live projects, gaining valuable hands-on experience and industry exposure.

    Internships 2024-25
  1. A group of 14 BSc and BCom students completed a one-month internship from March 1 to March 30, 2025, at the Osmania Technology Business Incubator (OTBI) alongside the Central Facilities & Research Development (CFRD) at Osmania University. The internship was conducted under the guidance of Prof. Harinarayana, Advisor at OTBI, providing the students with valuable hands-on experience and insights into the business incubation process and research development.
  2. A total of 5 students from BSc (Life Sciences) have done Internship at Tech Mind Sparc Innovations from November 2024 to March 2025.
